The title literally points towards the pressure that we as teenagers undergo everyday. There’s indeed a lot of competition in today’s world, lakhs of students write entrance exams for a number of “ABC’s”. But at the end of the day you need to know what really do you want from life. All of us have a dream, we all have passions but it depends how strong you’re to make your dreams come true. I too have a dream and that’s to become an Actress. Acting is my passion. How amazing it would be to do roles like Kajol in DDLJ or a challenging role like Priyanka Chopra in Mary Kom. I know I’m just looking onto the positive aspects but aren’t the positive aspects that keep you strong, no matter what happens the positive things in life keep you going, they keep the hopes the dreams alive. Its not just me but many from my age group who want to do something really different something challenging that no one in their family would have ever thought of. Now when you dream to do something this different from IIT or the “ABC” crap, the parental pressure makes you go mad. Yeah, the concern is out of care but it’s difficult to deal with, it gets really exasperating when you’re compared to some Sharma uncle’s son that lives in your neighborhood. But trust me this makes you stronger, it would make you want to prove yourself as a big success in whatever field you’ve chosen for yourself. Don’t lose hope ever.
Believe in your abilities, respect yourself. Be your strong self. Become friends with people who aren’t your age group. Hang out with people who don’t have their first language as same as yours. Mingle with people who don’t come from the social class you belong to. This is how you grow. This is how you learn new things. This is how you see the world.
